Tornado Warnings

We have had rain for the past two days off and on. Now we have tornado warnings through tomorrow. I just heard on the news a tornado touched down in Texas. Two children have been reported killed by downed trees. Those storms are headed our way. I hope everyone stays safe out there. Take care and precautions if you are on these storms' path. They can be very powerful and deadly. Speaking of power, I hope the power stays on during the night. Have a good evening everyone and stay safe.

@LadyDuck Yes thankfully we still have power. Many do not. Hundreds of thousands are without power. But they are thankful I am sure to be alive.

Yes we have a weather radio and the worst is gone for now. The bathroom is our safe place with no windows. And there are shelters all around.

I was in one in Grinnell Iowa. I think three people were killed, out near I-80, about three miles from where we huddled in a dorm basement.

I lived in Kansas and Missouri for a long time before we moved to Canada. I don't miss the Tornado Warnings, it was scary when my children were small and we moved often so we rented but every rental had to have a basement...Candles came in handy often...
