Heading home tomorrow

We’re in Perth, the capital of Western Australia, at the moment. We’ve been to a surprise party for a friend who has just turned 70 so that was a lot of fun. We’ve visited Vince’s brother and his wife who are off to England a week after we leave for Paris. We’ve caught up with my sister and nephew at an agricultural show where they scooped the pool with their Saanen and Nigerian Dwarf goats.
The judge is from the Eastern States and has a dairy of over 100 milking goats. She was worried about leaving her farm as, in that area, vegans and animal right activists have been releasing farm animals onto the roads believing they’re saving them from slaughter. You really have to wonder about some people. I’ll write more about that later.
This afternoon we’re attending a performance of a show called ‘Senior Moments’ which I am sure we’ll identify with. We’re staying with a friend in Fremantle and will catch the train into the city. It’s much easier than trying to park. Tomorrow we’ll leave early as Vince needs to have a blood test done before he goes to the doctor later in the week. In our small town, blood tests can only be carried out before midday.
The photo that I took some years ago is of a non-prize winning goat. But isn’t he cute?

@JohnRoberts no, I'll keep Sid. I cannot imagine the goat clomping on the roof and down below there is barely any grass in the garden.

I remember this photo and it deserved a prize, the goat is cute. Animal right activists are often silly people. The past year, in Italy, they released minks from their cages. The farm was near a freeway. The minks run all over the road and most of them were killed by the cars. How can people be so stupid?

Though he missed the prize, he is a handsome one.
Well for your mention of Vegans, I would just say people have to be tolerant about each other's choice of food and not try to impose it. But some people go too carried away with their choice and think that to be best one and right one. They try to impose it on others.
