Julian Assange - hero or villain ?

I must admit I'm quite pleased the Ecuadorian Embassy handed him over to the cops. I genuinely feel sorry for the embassy staff having to put up with this irritating man. He is a narcissist who really needs to face his crimes, whether he raped anyone or not. I'm blinking well sure the Americans would like a word to! First of all he is is a computer hacker, not a journalist. He steals meta-data. When you do that you get everything on the database, which could include everyday information of people who have done nothing wrong. I'm sure the American helicopter pilot wanted to kill someone for his war trophy but also in the Embassy files are the Turkish cleaners passport numbers and which of the office girls are having an affair. He is a vandal. The systems he took down with Bradley Manning are there to keep us safe. My main problem with Assange (other than he is a di*k) is he not doing all this so called investigative journalism for some sort of greater good but to be famous and adored , things he didn't enjoy as a geeky schoolboy, perhaps. Some of the undercover footage of him on his skateboard of the embassy show what an obnoxious man he is.

I am glad that he was finally arrested. I do not know if he is a rapist, this is a problem with his own country, but he is a dangerous hacker and a stupid selfish man. I hope he is over.

Some people will do anything to use their fame to wreck the world in the guise of doing what they believe is right. I guess Julian is a villain since his Wikileaks site could be false news.

You do the crime you do the time.
