Hey everyone, i hope you're doing well today! God is amazing and He loves you. =)
Things have been good here! We learned about Anne Frank and her diary. We answered questions after watching the Diary of Anne Frank and the kids wrote a journal entry about what they think they would write about (in their diaries) if in her shoes. My kids LOVED learning today and that makes me happy as momma and teacher! :) We did other subjects too but this one took the cake!!
Tonight for dinner we had chicken in mayonnaise marinade! Also, we had Hawaiian rolls with butter/cinnamon spread and white rice on the side. DELICIOUS! I am so full and grateful for a full belly!!
As for the house we were supposed to see....they decided to sell instead of renting it out. Oh well...when it's time for us to move something will come unexpectedly. =)
If you need prayers please let me know!!

@andriaperry Yes we want to this time. Lol. Being in a 2 bedroom gets harder by the day, especially since my husband & I sleep on the couch. Not complaining-just ready for a new chapter. =)

I remember learning about Ann Frank also.
And it meant so very much to me, I still remember reading the book and feeling her pain.
I also loved reading about the apparitions in Lourdes to the 3 little children.
That also struck quite a chord in me and I read as much as I could, and in those days there wasn't the internet, about both topics as they were of such great interest to me.
I know that the right home is out there for you, but it isn't ready just yet, in time.
I'm sending you a special PM now.

@Juliaacv The movie was great too, but very sad also. =( We will be learning even more about the Holocaust this week.
Thank you, I know it's coming. I'm working on having patience. Lol.
Thank you for the awesome message!!

@LovingMyBabies I agree, it was very sad to read about, and that is perhaps why it struck such a chord in me. It taught me, on a young and small scale, the importance of respect and peace, and how we need to have it for ourselves as well as for our fellow mankind.

I have visited Anne Frank House in Amsterdam and seen the actual diary and hidden room where she slept.

@Michellekidwell The movie was really good too-my kids sat through the entire thing barely ever wanting to get up which isn't like them during any movie!

I remember reading the Diary of Anne Frank in High School for a class. It sure was educational and sad.

Your children are home-schooled? Dinner sounded yummy! Too bad about the house; but, as you said, something will come up.
