Vacationing.

Hello everyone. Since it is Holy week, many are off to somewhere to have their vacation. Are you one of those? I used to be one when I was still single. Every chance I get to travel most especially on holy week because here, it has one of the longest vacation here in my country. But now, we still have vacations but we prefer to stay at home during these holidays. I cannot say that we are on vacation now but we are here at the house of my in laws for 3 days and we will be going back home on Thursday. How are you all doing?

We are both retired, this is a time of the year that we are better at home, too many people on the roads.

@rakski I have heard that there is already a long line of cars waiting to cross the border to go to Italy here, two hours waiting. I am well at home.

That is very true. That is also one of the reason why we spend time like this at home. Most of the people are out somewhere

Same with us we are bound to be in the province tonight. We’ll be spending it there and probably be staying at home most of the time. I think it’s not appropriate for us to really spend it on outing because it is time for us to reflect on it as christians.

I'm not, staying at home this Easter to take care of my horses and make exams. It seems like nearly everyone else is gone though, as the streets are half-empty already. I think many people left on Friday.

No I have no vacation. But there are three days holiday from Friday to Sunday. But no travel at all. My daughter's school exam will going to be starts from 24th of this month onwards.

There are family traditions that we practice every Holy Week, these had been passed on to us by our folks and their folks and being continued by our generations, so as much as possible out of town activities should not be scheduled on these dates.

Employees here will be on holidays from Thursday. Some file their early vacation so they can have the whole week off
