Blankets and duvets. Thoughts while I go to bed.

When fall starts and the temperature goes down, the first thing I do is to put my down duvet on my bed. And I remember the several types of blankets I had over the years, all not as warm and all a lot heavier. I think that I would not be able to sleep now with a blanket. I even crocheted a cover for my bed once. It was a painstaking job and now I have it somewhere in the second floor. The feathers await for me now. There my legs don´t suffer from the weight yet I am warm. What sort of bedding do you have? Do you need duvets in Winter? Sleep tight, dear lotters. I´m off to sleep. See you tomorrow

We have few blankets that are light and warm. Something similar to duvets

That´s nice. The blankets of my childhood were very heavy.

@marguicha Yes we had those too. The weight was an inconvenience to use them or to fold them.

When I was achild, blankets were made with pure wool. They were very thick and heavy.
