I think now and then how I would love to be on a deserted island all alone for just a little while. Well, this morning when the idea came up in my mind I thought about what it would take for me to be able to live there comfortably.
There are so many things I would need that it would take a pretty big boat to get them there. I first and foremost would have to have electricity. That alone would make my island no longer deserted.
I would have to have my computer, internet, air conditioner, furniture, a house to live in, the list goes on and on. I am a creature of comfort. I actually need some things to make my life comfortable, more things than I realized.
If you were stranded on a deserted island what would you need to be comfortable?

When thinking about this, I realized that there is a lot more that I would want to take than I thought there would be. We need things that we do not always think about. I could live without a computer or the internet as long as I had books to read and paper to write on.

This reminds me of...I have been homeless before, lived in a tent in the middle of winter and lived in a motel room with our 5 children and 2 pets. Neither were comfortable and the thought of having to go through it again would be really hard to bear. Although, there were MANY blessings that came out of it too. We saw many people saved by Jesus while going through our trials! =)
So, yes I would want all of the things we sometimes take for granted.
