The CHERRY TOMATOES are READY to be HARVESTED

Today, I decided to harvest our cherry tomatoes in the backyard. It was nice to see them. They are so abundant and can't help myself to feel blessed having them. I also gave some to our neighbors. I may not have real cherry fruits. But I think I can imagine these cherry tomatoes are like them. The mere fact, they are still considered fruit. "Do you have cherry tomatoes?" "Do you love them? "Are they really fruit or vegetable? Image Credit Shavkat

Tomatoes are fruits, here they start to ripe at mid-July, too early now. I grow my tomatoes.

I do agree with you. Some people are confused if tomatoes are fruit or vegetable. We started to plant vegetables in the backyard. The evil relatives didn't comply with our demands.

@Shavkat Everything with a seed "inside" is a fruit. Broccoli are veggies, beets, potatoes, kale, cabbage, celery, all those are veggies, no seeds inside.

I agree. We are planning to have a vegetable salad today. It is really nice to have something in the backyard. Do you buy them? I hope it is not that pricey there.

@Shavkat I buy the bigger tomatoes and sometimes get cherry ones. We planted some bigger ones in our garden.

@jstory07 I think it is nice to have the bigger ones. My family and I decided to plant vegetables in the backyard. Since my evil relatives didn't comply with the selling of the family house.

We had them since last year. Now, they are starting to bear fruits. It is bearing a lot and we need to share it with others. If you are here, I can give some of them to you.

I love cherry tomatoes and eat them as often as possible. I consider them a vegetable, but others say they are a fruit. I really don't bicker about it, whatever they think is fine with me!

I agree. I think we can have something to use with these cherry blossoms. I had this Korean student before, he tends to make it a snack. A sprinkled of sugar will work for him.

@Hannihar I hope they are not that pricey. I must admit cherry tomatoes are quite expensive here as compared to the big ones.

I have planted tomatoes but not sure which one. I have to wait for long time. Now the plant is growing quickly. We have two varieties available in market. one is imported and another called 'desi' (owned by our own) and it looks like the photo you attached here.

It has been a long time that I do gardening. It was stopped when the evil relatives created so many fussy things about the family house.

I love cherry tomatoes. Is there a "real-world" distinction between fruit and vegetables? I'm not sure.

How I wish I can grow them on pots . Tomatoes are actually fruits, and these cherry tomatoes are really ideal for salad. I hope all is well on your area my friend regarding the recent earthquake.

In fact, I didn't feel the earthquake. I was traveling at that time. I am having the cherry tomatoes more in the yard.

@florelway They are only for personal consumption. If they are so abundant, perhaps I can sell them. I tried to spread new seeds in the yard.

@Shavkat Great to hear that. Do you sell the cherry tomatoes, or just for you home's consumption?
