A new type of chocolate.

Do you remember the last time you ate some chocolate with a different (or unusual) taste? Today, at my family's Easter lunch, one of my aunts brought home homemade chocolate (made by herself) that had the mint, honey, pepper and lemon in it. Well... It was the first time I ate a chocolate with such a remarkable flavor. the taste is not the best (at least for me), but it was a worthwhile experience.

I can't picture the pepper and lemon in it - and the entire combination . Almost sounds like a cold remedy .

@cacay1 Can you imagine if this chocolate did cure the common cold? @WiseGhots ' aunt might have a billion dollar recipe there .

That's great that your aunts made the homemade chocolate. It sounds very attractive. It must be much more natural than the store chocolates. And this is why it will taste better

That sounds as though it would have a very unusual taste.

@cacay1 Yes, a pepper taste in ice-cream would be unusual.

That seems a very odd combination. I've had chocolate with mint in it, chocolate with honey in it, but I'm not so sure I've ever had it with lemon in it. All three combined? I'm sure your taste buds were confused.

What the farmer does not know, he does not eat - a proverb I heard in Germany. You ate the chocolate so you gave it the benefit of the doubt.

I guess chocolate's taste is a function of how well the ingredients were mixed and also the type to ingredients used.

japanese chocolate has a wonderful, but different flavor. Homemade chocolate as well is always good!
