Happy Earth Day! Today is Earth Day, which means we should be good to earth and Mother Nature for all it does for use. We as humans tend to treat it like trash and don’t good car. We should always be mindful of how we treat the Earth. It’s our ecosystem so we need to try to keep the balance.
I wonder if today my kids will do there part in helping to keep Earth healthy. What are you going to do today for Earth?

I'll probably just continue to recycle.. as there's not much to do today with the rain and all.

I do my best to help protect mother earth. I recycle everything I can, or re-purpose things I can't. I try to live a minimalist life to begin with, because the less stuff I buy or consume, the less trash I generate. I also try to be very mindful of the water and electricity I use in my home, and the gas I use to drive.
I am also a big fan of planting trees, so I always try to plant new trees when I can.

That is great! Our kids do things with the scouts for the earth lots of it. We talk about we only leave our foot prints not anything else. This weekend the middle is going to pick up trash at the park.

@moffittjc that’s good! They kids got in trouble 2 weeks ago because they got caught stuffing things in the the drain out front of our house.

@ShyBear88 One of the things I taught my kids early on was to be the one person who made a difference, to be that one person who took the time to care enough to pick up trash on the ground. And just like you said, only leave footprints and nothing else.

I do my best every day. I do not buy liquids sold in plastic bottles to start. I refuse to buy anything containing palm oil, I never use disposable dishes, goblets and other stuff and we recycle everything we can (tin cans, paper, glass bottles...).

Do becareful what you recycle lots of people thing certain things are but they are not. Some glasses and plastic can not be recycled.

@ShyBear88 We have the list of what we MUST recycle (we get fined if we don't) and what must be placed in the garbage bins. They are very strict from many years with recycling in this country.

@florelway you can do some of it yourself. Of course you can’t make it have work do things that is there own choice. You can also at home make certain choices.

@ShyBear88 since I spent most of daytime at work it could have been ideal to do a concerted effort with coworkers, how I tried to suggest ideas on waste disposal, recycling, turning off aircondition 30 minutes before work closes.
