Watt a day Tuesday was.....

It started out really early for some reason, not that I got up early but I tossed and turned from about 4am til almost 7am when I finally gave up trying to get back to sleep. 
By 8am I got my first phone call from a number I didn't know and I answered it. It turned out to be one very smart move on my part. It was a representative for the many options I could choose from for added bennies to Medicare. Now I can go to the doctor I want who had not been available on my old carrier. 
That took a while but I finally got registered with the new insurance then got showered and went to Costco to get supplies ..... well, most of them anyway, they didn't have everything I hoped they wood, ohhhh whaaallle 
On my way home I stopped at Albertsons to get some wheat grass for Meetzee and Max, in the photo above. They don't go outside anymore so I give them wheat grass which they like to chew on now and then. Meetzee likes to sit on it sometimes and that's when the poor plants die. They miss mom's lush backyard.
To make my day complete I got a thunderstorm about 2 hours after I got home. It was WONDERFUL 
It rained for well over an hour coming down really really hard and it is still sprinkling a little now. THANK YOU GREAT SPIRIT
It rained some last night as well but didn't last as long. It is highly unusual to get rain here this time of year but I'm glad we got some.
It was a wonderful day for me.

nice to have at least one day like that now and then. but I can't remember how long it's been since I have. Maybe a couple yrs. 
anyway,I used to like rain but here in Florida since that last horrifying hurricane. not so much

Natural forces like hurricanes terrify me, I'm just glad that the most we usually get ..... knock on wood ..... are sandstorms with possibly wind speeds that might reach 50 mph, usually no higher and I pray we don't get any higher ones anytime soon.

Today it is cold 47 degrees, we went to church and then I called our friends to see if they wanted to go out to brunch, they did so we met them at a favorite restaurant. I had a lobster egg benny which was delicious.

@rebelann lol MY friend in Virginia said the same thing, it was eggs benedict with lobster instead of Canadian bacon, all covered in hollandaise sauce, it was wonderful.

Not all insurance companies are that good, maybe you can find a better one to switch too?
So, fixing the stove has to be top priority so hopefully you'll find someone who can help without you having to fork out huge sums of money.

I am glad you got that much-needed rain! I know you were very happy with it. Did you go outside and dance in it? Rain is good sleeping weather. I hate having to travel to get to larger stores and then they not have what you need in stock.

I don't go out in thunderstorms, I'm always afraid I'll get struck by lightening plus when the ground here is wet it is also very slippery and when I fall in that slippery mud I have a hell of a time getting up again ..... I wish I could draw, I'd do a Maxine toon with her trying to get up from a fall in slippery mud.

I'm glad the phone call was for your benefit. I'm also glad you got some much-needed rain. It's good you got necessary supplies for you and your pets.
My day - I spent a good portion of the day on myLot. Then I brought a book out of mothballs to work on and hopefully finish this year. Watched a movie, worked on another chapter, and now I'm back here before going to bed.

I'd have probably missed that call. I tend to not pick up the phone if it is a number I don't recognize. That could be a bad thing anyway since I only have my work cell, BUT I generally either have my customers names in my phone or I recognize the areas I deal with if it's only a number that pops up.

All my days are good as long as my kritters and I wake up alive.
Today I get some of the laundry done. I only have two short clothes lines so I have to do laundry in steps. I hope by the end of the year I can afford to fix my clothes dryer but I'm not in a hurry.
