~Update On Some Things~

Hey everyone, I hope you're doing well today! God loves you so much!! If you're looking for truth-read the Bible-you will find truth.
Last night for our anniversary, our friend Kim watched our kids so we could go on a DATE!! First time we got to go out to celebrate our anniversary in many years! 
We went to see the AMAZING movie Breakthrough-about the boy who fell through the ice, and miraculously survived. Absolutely worth the price!!! 
The mechanic called about the van. It is the computer that needs to be replaced. Not quite the news we were hoping for but better than the motor being blown! 
So, we will see how much it costs for a new one and go from there....
And now, something I am SUPER excited about-I AM going on the retreat/conference this weekend!! 
We go Friday afternoon, then I will be staying over night on Friday into Saturday. I am really excited to grow in my walk with God and to fellowship while there as well.
That is going to feel soooooo strange without my family for that long. 
I know that doesn't seem long to anyone else-but I have never been away from ALL of them at the same time for that long! Lol.
If you need prayers feel free to let me know! I would love to pray for you!!

I'm so happy that your friend came to the rescue and watched the kids so that the two of you could enjoy some quality time just the two of you. I know that might sound odd, but we need couple time in order to keep the marriage healthy don't we?
I'm glad that the engine isn't gone on your van. I too, took my car into the mechanic today. He diagnosed it and called me with a quote, and I booked it in for late next week. He will have the parts by then.
I am very pleased to hear that you will be able to attend the retreat.

@LovingMyBabies I am very happy for you.
My car has been running a bit hot as of late, and I took it in to have some coolant added a week ago, but there is a slow leak, and I want this fixed so that the engine doesn't blow. I would really like to keep this car on the road as long as I can since its only for me for work, and once we retire, we will probably go down to just 1 vehicle.

Jennifer, I'm so happy you and your husband got to celebrate your anniversary! I know it's hard to get the chance for time with just the two of you when you have small children. I pray your weekend will be so blessed, you won't be able to stop talking about it!

@Marilynda1225 Thank you so much! It was a great evening and the kids behaved wonderfully while we were gone which was awesome too! Josiah is very attached to me so I was concerned about how he would do. He did great!! =)

That's great that you got to go out just the two of you, and enjoy a good movie! I have been wanting to see that one.
Hope that won't be a too expensive fix on the van, but good plan to see and go from there!
I can imagine that would feel strange, I haven't been away for mine that long either so I understand! Hope it will be a great time though!

Its going to cost $250, but it's cheaper than another vehicle so we're going to get it done.

@MommyOfEli2013 Once it goes to Redbox we plan to rent it for the kids to see it too. =) I know the movies are SO expensive! If it wasn't our anniversary that wouldn't have happened for us either.

@LovingMyBabies I don't think we'll be able to go, but when it comes out on DVD we'll have to get it. Glad you had a good time!
That is expensive, but that is good that it is cheaper than getting another vehicle!
Oh yeah, I can understand....you'll enjoy that time, and then be excited to go back home to them :)
