Day 1

I will do a complete rundown of UntitledTown on Sunday. I wanted to let you know I'm home, and except for one session, they were all awesome. Especially Sci-Fi Worldbuilding.
I learned a lot, especially that I don't need to take my Chromebook. I couldn't do with it what I intended, so tomorrow it stays home and my briefcase won't be as heavy as it was today. It had to weigh upwards of 10#.
So, did you miss me? I'm going to clear out my notifications and see what you've been up to today. Thanks for reading.
Here is just one picture from the sessions.

Of course you were missed! Sounds like a good time though, and that is good that all but one session was good.

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and that you realized early on that your chromebook was of no use to you there. I'd think it would make it easier to take notes, but even when typing notes most speakers don't go slow enough for most of us to get what we want down on paper.
I was hoping for specifics on why you didn't like the one speaker related to research. I'm guessing she didn't stick to her topic or merely talked without teaching the rest of you what you went for.

@just4him Was her book anything to do with how to do research?
I wonder if the title was decided upon by another speaker that ended up cancelling? Otherwise, that's pretty sad that she couldn't keep to the topic or even start it.

@MarshaMusselman No, her book had nothing to do with research, though it would have been nice if she would have told how she researched her book as it would have been very interesting. However, it wasn't, she didn't, and I wasn't enthused.
No, she was the scheduled person for that session.
