Yes, the picture above really shows my steps so far for today, and the day is not even over, though I don't plan on taking many more steps than that ! After my previous post, I took @ScribbledAdNauseum 's advice and walked maybe a quarter to a third of the way to work, stopped at the local convenience store, and called a Lyft from there. I only paid a little over half what I would have paid for the Lyft than what I would have paid had I called it from home. Work went well today, Plus at the end of my shift when I was leaving, my boss told me that she tweaked my hours again so I wouldn't have to work quite as often (trying to get to a wage amount that I qualify for more low income programs), plus will be a bit less stress, plus I will not have to leave Angel alone as much, plus I can get a bit more done around the house, plus I can schedule (and not have to cancel) more doctors' appointments when I need them, plusI will not have to pay so much for Lyfts !!! Oi. So anywho, after I left work, (not wanting to pay for a Lyft again today) I walked to the nearest bus stop--which was maybe a half a block to a block away, caught a bus maybe ten minutes later, went to the transit center by the grocery store, saw that the bus I needed to get closer to home wasn't coming for another half an hour, so I walked the rest of the way home, which takes about fifteen or twenty minutes. I got home, put the garbage cans out for tomorrow, walked Angel, fed Angel, and now I am in more comfortable/less sweaty clothes and saying hello to you all. In a bit I am going to go do some Bible study, and then get something to eat myself. Part of my most recent "schedule tweaking" is that I do not work tomorrow, and to top it off, when I do work again, it will be at the school I worked at today, which I love love love, as the atmosphere is so much more pleasant than at the other school.
