My granddaughter had a great day in NYC

My daughter in law brought my granddaughter Sydney to work with her on Bring your child to work day. My daughter in law works from home but her home office is in New York City. They stopped outside the Today show with signs. You can see in the picture that they were successful in getting a little attention from Jenna Bush Hager and Jay Leno. Syd is on the right side.

That is one awesome photo and great memories. I almost didn't recognize Jay Leno it's been so long since I've seen him on the TV screen.

Nothing phases Syd she is the most self-possessed kid I have ever seen but she has been doing competitive dance since she was tiny so I guess that helps.

I didn't recognize Jenna Bush Hager, but I couldn't miss Jay Leno.
I'm sure that she will long remember this day.
Our son did not meet anyone of celebrity status when I took him to work, but he still remembers the day quite vividly he tells me.

My daughter in law is in marketing and she gets to meet famous people quite frequently but it still was a great day.

I think this is a good idea. It introduces kids to the workplace where they are likely to spend most of their adult life and may put things into perspective of what their parents actually have to do! I have taken my daughter to work with me but usually hide her in one of the offices when I was seeing people!
