Seven Remotes

It is rather weird the strange subject matter I tend to think about before falling asleep at night. This particular night I started thinking about remotes. I recalled one time years ago when I was over at an acquaintance's home. He had invited me to set down on his comfy cozy couch while he went to get refreshments. I viewed the room. The usual mantel piece, colorful book case and large television. But, on the coffee table were seven remotes. I can understand a cable remote, music/surround sound remote, DVD player remote, and television remote. But, what are the other three remotes for? Hmmm.
Any ideas?

Well, now thsoe remotes might be used to control a ROKU box, or the lighting. Of course, it depends on how many years ago it was that you went to his house.
With that in mind, I'd say one was for an old t.v. and he hadn't thrown it out. The other was a universal remote, and the one he used the most often. That leaves one more remote without a purpose.

Yeah, to many remotes stress me out! I would be fine with just two, because three is a crowd. LOL
