I found these two stories in my local news today. A man was sentenced to 2 years in prison and 4 years probation for his 5th DUI. Yep that is correct his 5th DUI. I guess he didn't learn after the first 4 times. Not only will he get to spend 2 years in prison but he also gets to pay a fine of $5,290.00. Wonder if he will learn after this time, maybe the 5th time is the charm and he will learn to not drink or not drive. Wonder if he thinks it was worth it. Another outstanding citizen of our town was caught selling marijuana, not that big of a deal right? Well there is more, he was on felony probation already and in my state if you are on felony probation that give the police the okay to search your home if they have any reason to believe you are committing a crime. So they search and guess what? They found a loaded unregistered 9mm hand gun. So he is being held on a $5,000.00 cash bond. Did I mention he is 18 years old...I'm sure he has a bright future ahead of him.

He would have not been able to drive here for the 5th time under the influence, they would have confiscated his driver license at the 3rd time.
