Maybe I will learn again to climb stairs.

It seems to me that as days go by, it is easier for me to climb those stairs to the second floor. Maybe I should say 'less hard'. But anyway, here I am, surviving the hardships of the bathroom remodeling. I hope the worker comes tomorrow. Leticia will have to take tare of him as I will go out all day to go to the doctor with Claudia. This is similar to rehab. sessions. Poor me!

I can’t stand workers in my house, but it’s a necessary evil. You will have buns of steel climbing those stairs!

@DianneN I have leg and knee problems. Exercise won´t help them.

It's good for stamina, but it can be hard on the knees. Hope the bathroom remodeling will be done soon!

@marguicha I am told to strengthen the muscles above the knees (thighs) and below (shin/calves) to help the knees. My knees aren't too problematic yet - but I can tell they are not the same as when I was younger.

You know climbing stairs is also great exercise, Back in Latvia I had a two story house and it saved me from being stiff working at the PC a good deal of the time. Just walking up and down. We had no upstairs bathroom only downstairs and of course, the kitchen was downstairs. It was great for me. Now in my little apartment, I have to march around the rooms just to get some movement.

I climbed with no problem at you age. It´s incredible how 11 years more and chemotherapy can do against your legs

@RasmaSandra That´s why I´m fixing my bathroom. I cannot easily get my leg over the tub. And then, there were no bars. I´ll place some too.

I've been told to climb more stairs. My legs seem to be getting weaker and weaker. We have stairs out the front but I rarely need to use them.

@JudyEv I Just looked it up. I didn´t know that existed. But I´m not sure if I would be able to use it. As for now, here at home, I would not be able to pee with that either. So, climb to the second floor

I decided to live only downstairs a couple of years ago. But now, with my bathroom being remodeled, I have to climb a lot. I didn´t realize that we had to pee so many times

I am not sure whether climbing stairs on purpose will be good or not. As I heard it will have a negative effect on the knees. If you want to do some exercises, perhaps walking is better.

I don´t mind walking so much. But I have a problem now of not having a bathroom in the first floor.

I’m awful with stairs. Our house is one level and then I broke my ankle last year, which I’m just now back at 100% from. My dream is to use the stair machine at the gym but it might be an impossible dream.

I think that the stairs in our home are those that keep me in shape, but at the end of the day my legs are tired.

And I can´t say anything. Leticia warned me that if I spoke too loud to him, he might not come back. And Juan Pablo doesn´t have another such worker,.

I don't like exercising either, but I do it anyway. But think while going upstairs that it's better than using the bathroom outside.

I think your remodelling of the bathroom will finish soon. You did a wonderful job to be in the first floor and the second floor for the guests. That is safe. Absolutely correct decision.

The decisión was good. Now I have to be patient.
