Changed Lines but wrecked again!

Philippines

I've had internet trouble and lost dial tone last weekend. After a call from their customers service, the technicians came and learned the cables were severed somewhere. They couldn't trace the source so they replace the whole line. I was happy for a while until I went upstairs and saw the line a bit torn again, those dogs just can't help it with their teeth. I actually gave them dental chews last week i guess it wasn't enough.

We took in a couple of small stray strays here and guess what they did? They chewed up wires under my car which was no longer under warranty. It was several hundred dollars to repair. Come to the find out the wires had a coating on them that contained peanut oil so it was attractive to the dogs. Sorry about your cable wires. I can understand your grief. Maybe you can make that room a dog free room?

@Letranknight2015 How old is this dog? It' pretty common for younger pups, even up to age 2-3 years for them to be chewers.

Hello @kareng These were Telephone / internet line wires and it was brand new. They already have a huge space outside. It's just that this dog just can't help biting stuff. Sorry about your vehicle that must be terrifyingly upsetting.

Oh boy you should place the cables higher now that your dog found it tempting to chew them. I have requested an upgrade for my internet but until now they haven't shown up for me. I was supposed scheduled yesterday but no one came in. It was several times postponed already and I am thinking of not pushing it anymore. They already disconnected my internet connection but they have not replaced it with the upgraded one. They could have maintained the connection til they came in to replace the old dsl line.

I wish there was any other way to put the wires on the other side but maybe i can reinforce it to prevent them from touching it anymore.

Oh no that isn't good. It could hurt them chewing it and makes extra cost for you. My boyfriends dog chews things up when she is bored and home alone.

You need to keep the dogs away from the lines.
