Bernie Sanders is a Capitalist.

Bernie Sanders talks about making the USA into a "Democratic Socialist" economy. He blathers on about the "virtues" of socialism, but I don't believe a word he says.
Why?
Because he refuses to live the Socialist lifestyle he claims. He is only willing to live it if he can force it on everyone else, then be one of the government officials who gets to decide what everyone else should have. He would see no reason to limit his own greed.
Capitalism is the open market in action. Bernie Sanders is a salesman. He is capitalizing on the current pro socialist movement among liberals. Selling socialism has made him a millionaire. He uses his money to buy vacation homes, nice cars and other luxuries. What he doesn't use his money for is charitable donations. He only donates around 2% of his millions to charity.
So no, Bernie Sanders is not a socialist, he's a capitalist who sells socialism to suckers.

So they want you to live socialism but they shouldn't have to. lol
What I'm pointing out is Bernie Sanders has become rich selling socialism that he doesn't practice himself. He doesn't even donate much money to charity. He has no interest in helping people, he just wants to be in charge of everyone else's money... for his own gain.

@ParaTed2k Donating to charity has nothing to do with socialism. If a state is fair enough and present when people need help charities become useless.
I had read the program of Bernie Sanders. He would sit at the center-left of our assembly in France, with the party of our president, who is not a very "social" president.

@topffer Yet it isn't me defining him as socialist, it is himself. He claims to be socialist, but refuses to live anything resembling socialism. Yet he runs on a platform socialism,
Again, his words, not mine.
He claims to be a socialist, so I'll ask you, what part of his life shows any interest in living socialism?

I have heard of him before somewhere and he sounds much like the one who is President right now although he not rich as yet.
At the moment no one is really quite sure what is socialism anymore as they seem to change it all at their own will and fancy.

Which is why I am using his own words to describe his Socialism, not mine.

Since he became a "somebody" in the last election, he also suddenly became a millionaire.
