Oh well, it pays to have millennials for company, they quickly update you with what's new.
What is new?
Marvel's new heroine is brown-complexioned WAVE. WAVE is, in Tagalog, ALON. Since the Philippines is surrounded by waters, the ALON is a powerful image.
The comics is coming out 8th of May.
Here's a few frames about WAVE, and interestingly, even Marvel makes a stand on the West Philippine Sea.

@eileenleyva Maybe there's going to be another MCU movie and i hope with her. Then have a movie location in the Philippines, that would be COOL.

It is. Makes me happy. Though I would have liked Moana's complexion. a darker brown. And had I known Marvel was drawing a brown super hero, I would have sent my nose for pattern.

@JudyEv That's all right. It was only by chance that I had access to comics - Marvel, DC, Archie - as a child, but I did love reading the graphic stories frame by frame.
