New Window Stickers for the Instruments I Play.

On my old 1994 Ford Ranger, I had stickers of Army Jump Wings, Parachute Rigger Wings, and a sticker for the three Army Career Fields under which I served (Signal, Quartermaster & Field Artillery). While I am proud of my Army career, that was all in my past. In fact, as of October I will have been retired for as many years as I served. So for my "new" Ford Ranger (1999) I decided to go with something more representative of my life nowadays. A sticker for each musical instrument I play. Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Harmonica, Ukulele, Drum Set and Congas. I teach bass, electric and acoustic guitar, as well as harmonica, ukulele and congas. Someday I might be able to add drums to my list, but I'm a long way from that day.

Yo, do you have some YouTube videos of your stuff? I played bass last night at one of the most enjoyable gigs I've ever experienced. I just posted about it. When I retire, I hope to teach bass, guitar and piano to kids.

My brother has the aircraft carriers he served on plastered on the back of his car window. I just have my chevron and a Navy sticker. I'm much prouder of my Navy service than what I do to a guitar!

Here's the bumper sticker I made for my son. He served on the USS George Washington in Japan. It's not a matter of what I'm proud of, just a change of emphasis. Maybe even a bit of marketing for my instrument lessons too. ;~)
