Do I care about you?

It seems that the more society evolves in different aspects, it's possible to notice that at the same time it is also regressing in many others... For example: in the empathy of the human being with the other human being. This situation is so sad because it shows how many of us are becoming individualistic (in so many levels).

Yes. That is a side effect of all these evolution and development. We are getting more and more confined to our own selves.

Well, I know that I care about the many online friends I have and I have known many of them more than 10 years and always enjoy hearing from them online. I love finding out what everyone is up to here on myLot and I do believe I know some of their life stories already so I do care.

Thank you internet and cell phones. We have become a none personal, instant society. We expect everything instantly and without personal contact. We don't need to interact with someone we can order things off the internet and we can text someone a message rather than actually talk to them. Although at times this might be very convenient it sure if sad that people can not talk to each other. We are losing the ability to be social in person.

i heared that in China, where every parents can only have one child, the next generation is very selfish and celf centred. they are used to they parents taking care of them and only them, no concurrency.. every child feels like he's the center of the univers ..

Rat race, to each his own, survival of the fittest describe fully how we are. We may still have a tinge of caring for others but saving our own is more dominant, it's part of human existence.

It is very sad that many are becoming more and more selfish. One day they'll learn that we need others in our world from time to time - or all the time really.

This is true!! Especially in the city!! Everybody's got ear plugs on and it's supposed to be cool to not notice your neighbor!! It's like people are becoming robots!!
