I don’t know why but my husband texted me the other night while he was at work asking me if he could apply for a new position at work. Right now he works 3 nights a week and 2 of those 3 nights every other weekend he has to work. It’s night shift so it’s form like 7pm-7am. That works well for a lot of our stuff. So he texted me telling me there is a supervisor trainer position open from like 8am-5pm Monday’s-Friday’s which means he would have the weekend for family time. He also said it would be a paid raise as well. I told him you don’t really have to ask me if you think you can handle new position and what it’s responsibilities that come with it. If you think it works best for our family then great. More money is great and the time isn’t bad pulse you get the weekend off which is nice. He said okay and was going to ask his manager if it is under her because if it is he can apply now or else he has to wait till some time in June or July when he hits is 1 year mark at a metal health tech to apply for it in hops they don’t pick someone in the mean time.

It is so good of him to get you involved in the whole decision making-process. If he gets the position, I bet he will do it fine! Good luck to him!

He really doesn’t need to. Medical jobs in some something to fallow. I think he just wanted to clear the time frame from 8am to 5pm that’s means he is gone the whole day but doesn’t work 12 hours.

@jvicentevalera he has every other weekend and he works 3 days a week right now for 12 hours so he gets 4 days a week off. We see each other often enough.

@ShyBear88 Exactly. I think it is better for him and you too. More time to see him, weekends off, and the pay is higher.
