Who Comes Up With These, Indeed!

Every day we're treated to a list of national "days" by @Dena91 . She will tag them, "Who comes up with these." I get surveys at Kroger on my receipt, and when I answer the survey I frequently think the same thing: Who comes up with these questions???? The surveys are nothing, and hey, they pay 50 fuel points. Fill out four surveys a month, save 20c a gallon. That's a good bargain (not the best I ever had, sorry, Roger Daltrey, but.....)! But oy, these questions.... They give you statements and ask you to what degree you agree with them. One of them is something along the lines of feeling "confident" when I shop there. Well....no. I usually feel hungry, which is why I go to the grocery store. I'm not there to be "confident," I'm there for bananas. There's another one about how "pleasing" to the senses the store is. What, am I supposed to sneak a grape or two so I can see how good the store tastes? And these "the store made me feel welcomed." Heck, the check-out clerk didn't even make me feel welcomed! The perks of the surveys are great. But dang, some of those questions are awful!!! All these questions!!!

Never heard this song before but I do like the Moody Blues so thank you for the song. I stopped taking surveys when I discovered that most of the questions seem to repeat themselves and I got so tired having to answer the same things over and over agian.

Happy to oblige. That's my favorite Moody Blues songs. Gives me goosebumps every time.

lol. Clearly there is a team of psychoanalysts who have no real connection to the real world, locked up in their fantasy touchy-feely world, who think people actually think like this when they 'experience' shopping for a pork steak.

Yeap, they can ask some dumb questions on some of those surveys. I saw that Kroger had fuel rewards but I have no clue what brand/station you can use them at. The info on the website for our store didn't say so I'm clueless on that one.

Those kinds of surveys or polls are all over the net, most are just plain stupid .... I don't do a lot of instore shopping, usually I go to Costco and so far they haven't asked me to answer a poll. That song brought back memories, not really good ones though.

I don't like the surveys from most places. The questions are always stupid but for 20c off fuel I might be convinced to fill it out.
