Up With the Chickens this Morning

I woke up at 4 am this morning. I didn't plan to get up this early at all. I just couldn't sleep. I turned my nightlight on and read a few pages in my book. Turned light off and tried to go back to sleep. Nope, not happening. I didn't go to bed until after midnight so didn't really get a good night's rest.
Who else is up at the crack of dawn? I will probably be heading back to bed for a nap soon. I have a few things to do today and want to feel rested when I get on the road to drive.
On a good note, I have knocked out a good many notifications. I have high hopes of catching up soon, although I may be kidding myself.

I haven't been to bed yet. I wish I could nap. I have so much trouble falling asleep. Have a nice nap.

@kareng Sometimes I sleep in the recliner with Lily. 2am this morning I had no power so I went back to bed until 4am this morning when the power came back on.
