Peek a Boo

Was out in the front photographing flowers yesterday and I kept hearing baby birds. I started looking around and in the top of one of my cedar trees, I saw the little heads peeking out. Blackbird babies. This is the third nest so far this year. Two in the backyard and now this one in the front.
Why couldn’t it be cardinals or doves. Just what I need, more blackbirds. Oh well, I got a few photos as they were waiting on mom and dad to feed them. This is the most birds and nests I have ever had in my yard. The trees are growing due to all the rain, giving them a place to nest.
Lots of sunshine today and it is starting to heat up. I am missing the cool weather already.
Any plans for today? Nice weather in your world?

It's probably about 50 degrees here, still chilly but quite beautiful in the sunshine. I haven't seen any baby birds yet this year, but lots of robins are hopping around in yards! Those babies are so cute, nice photo Carol

@CarolDM If the weather never got above 60 degrees, I'd be so happy!

How cute.
I haven't heard that many birds here yet. It's somewhat unusual because I usually hear the mourning doves but this year there aren't as many.
I think birds know when there are climate changes a lot quicker than humans do, makes me wonder where they've gone to.

Maybe they'll be cool - like red wing or yellow head black birds :-)

The weather is not nice here, not at all, it's windy and cold. Three days ago the temperature was around 77 F, now they droped to 45 F. Right now I'm watching the clouds racing in the sky.
Cute birds though
. I mean, they may be blackbirds, but they're babies and they look cute
. I love all animals anyway, hehe

Amazing picture Carol, I love how green it looks. Aww look at those baby birds, they are so cute. I hope you get a cardinal nest soon so you can photograph it too! Patience!

@jvicentevalera They are cedar trees and have gotten so tall, there are always bird nests in the spring. Thank you!

@CarolDM Anytime Carol, those spruce trees look gorgeous, somehow rain is needed so your trees look that beautiful!

What a wonderful photo. So cute the birds. The rain has gone away and the sun is out again. I was just working online.

It's supposed to be in the 60s today. The sun is out right now. Rain the rest of the week.
