Tomorrow is a great day in my country, the day when we honour the victory over the most inhuman, cruel evil of the world history fascism, a day when we remember those brave people who sacrificed their lives for the sake of peace for the sake of future generations! On May 9, we honour the heroes, Soviet soldiers, who liberated thousands of innocent people from concentration camps, who saved innocent lives from the cold-blooded hands of the Nazis. Two of my great-grandfathers were killed in the early years of the war and were buried in a mass grave. They fought for their homeland. They fought for justice. They fought for their children and grandchildren to enjoy a peaceful life and remember what we shouldn't forget. Despite media attempts to belittle the deads of Soviet soldiers, attempts to forget their names, vile attempts to rewrite the history, we will never forget... Stalingrad, Kursk, Minsk, Berlin, Leningrad blockade... We will never forget 27000000 people who gave their lives for the sake of peace.
