Bella the Destroyer!!

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing good today. It's been a long week for me. I have not been sleeping well, again. I have been busy, with work, looking for a house and taking care of my home and family. At the local store, you can get pet toys for a dollar. I decided, to pick up a stuffed duck for my little dachshund Bella. She loves duck toys because they sound like a real duck. The only problem is when you buy a dog toy for a dollar so not expect them to last long. This one lasted all of five minutes. Bella had a great time destroying the duck toy while I put my stuff away. There was a bit of a mess to clean up when she was done with it. But, it keeps her happy and out of the way. Bella the destroyer strikes, again. I am not sure how many of these duck toys I have gotten in the past two years. They never last long. I don't know why I keep getting them for her. I know she will have them destroyed in minutes. I guess, I like to watch Bella being a little dog and destroying her toys. Does your dog destroy toys like Bella? Have you ever timed how long it took your dog to finish off a stuffed animal?

I was thinking of getting her a bone next time. She doesn't seem to like them as much as the toys.

@amadeo No, she does a a bone she chews on once in a while. But, maybe if I get her something small she would enjoy it. She is only a little dog. And someone got her a bone that was almost as big as her.

My dog, Rascal, was a plush toy destroyer. I had a friend who had a lot of stuffed toys she wanted to get rid of. I put them out for him but really expected them to last longer than they did. I went to work and came home with stuffing from one end of the house to the other. He had a good day.

Ellie's toys all last her for a long time, sometimes even for years. It depends on the quality of the baby, and like you said, babies from the dollar store don't last long. We usually get the soft kong babies for Ellie, they have a little squeakie in them that she loves.

@whiteream Ellie has a hedge hog baby also. Her favorite soft squeakie to throw is a football, she's allowed only softies to throw in the house. Her outside toys are a whole other story.

Most of the time when I get her a good toy it foes last. She has a hedge hog that has been around for some time. It's one of her favorite to be thrown. I really don't expect the dollar stores to last.

Gone in 60 seconds, LOL, I love that one. Fred would just look at the toys and not really bother with them.

It's better that she does this to toys. She never chews on anything around the house. So, I am alright with her killing the toys.

My dog never destroyed anything. He was a good dog that I had for ten years.
