Hybrid Animal - Liger

This is an animal which I never knew of until the college days and when I found them to be pretty interesting when I came to know about them. I have never seen any of them in real life yet but would like to see one. They are the offspring from the crossbreeding of a lion and a tiger more specifically, male lion as its father and a tigress as its mother. You can look up what a lioness and a male tiger offspring is if you don't know by any chance.
Have you seen such a beast in virtual or even in real life?

i've seen them in the news..but they have a problem with liger/tigon crossings..the genetic marker that tells them when to stop growing is turned off-so they end up HUGE.
