I had deja vue this evening while cooking Tony`s dinner, its been a very long time since this has happened. I had cooked a slice of beef and I took it out of the skillet and onto a plate to rest, in the meat dripping and butter I was cooking mushrooms and the moment I put the mushrooms in the skillet............... it was a strange feeling, like I had did this before.... A deja vue moment. Do you have these moments?

Not so much anymore. It used to happen quite a lot when I was younger.

Deja Vue is when you are doing something, or go some place, and you have this overwhelming feeling like you have done it before , or been here before but you know you havent. I had that last night.

Yes, I have had that happen also. However, those moments are few and far between.

@andriaperry Do you ever wonder why you don't have them as often? Busier? Older? Mind not as sharp? So many things we will never know the answers to....

For me now too, but I used to have them all the time.

I had those "déjà vu" moments, some pretty scary, I knew where to find stores in places where I had never been before.

@andriaperry Exactly, you look around and you "recognize" places that you are not supposed to know.

@andriaperry It's a bit long but the short of it is your memory is working before your eyes brings in the situation in the present. You see the situation but before it registers what you are seeing, it's already in your memory. There is also parts of what you are experiencing in your memory from another time that mixes in so there is the familiarity of that situation.

I have been getting such moments lately like flashbacks from another time and strange dreams, This will be on my post tonight with a Johnny Cash song I Still Miss Someone.

It is possible for this kind of repeat performance not knowing that it is being repeated.
