What did you have for dinner tonight?

Trader Joe's sells a self-contained Caesar Salad, including dressing. It's pretty darned good, and you can add chicken to it (or whatever else you might have on hand). I bought some the other day, and had it for lunch tonight. I think I will have it for dinner, maybe add some tuna, and call it good. After work, I went to an enjoyable psychology department gathering, then went on a several-mile bike ride with Horse Jr. Now I am ready to eat and crash. Tell me about your dinner this evening. Maluse wants to know.

A salad, baked potato and fried mushrooms. I like those salads to, I often get those when I am sitting up at the hospital.

@TheHorse Tony hates to be left alone at the hospital, he is actually scare of what they will do, he sometimes won`t understand especially after pain meds, so I stay there, I sleep there and only leave to come home and change and shower. That is what I mean by sitting up at the hospital. I have did this many times with so many different people. The staff does not mind because I am a big help, handing drinks and keeping them calm.

I just had some rava dosa with green corriander and mint chutney. I added a few fresh veggies to the dosa to make it more yummy and healthy. Your salad sounds yummy! I am sitting with my ginger tea now.

@TheHorse You know that we do not eat this kind of food for breakfast in Europe. Breakfast is a lot lighter.

@LadyDuck Interesting. Does it vary by Country? My last experience in Europe was a visit to Austria. The breakfasts were light but good, now that you mention it.

We were bad, and went to Wendy's for our evening meal. We will do better tomorrow. I have salad fixings that we will have the rest of this weekend. We hope to have a picnic tomorrow at noon.

I have been eating all day so I did not have anything for dinner. I finally ate lunch very late(past 3pm). Then I went to Claudia´s house, but Leticia sent me with empanadas. So I kept on eating. Rafael came from work around 6 and brought chocolate. So when I came home, I opened my laptop and started mylotting.

@TheHorse He has both obstructive and central sleep apnea and they removed his tonsils and adenoids. Now they said his tongue may need surgery since it's so big. He is only 19 months old. It's typical of children with Down Syndrome though.

I really don't think @MALUSE does want to know! We had teriyaki salmon with noodles, quinoa, boiled carrots, steamed peas, roasted broccoli, grilled courgette (zucchini), and buttered leeks, followed by a fresh fruit salad. Yesterday I think we really did manage to 'eat a rainbow'!

Uh-oh. You might get some punishment for that last comment. As for a pre-prepared salad of any kind, I cannot imagine the taste would ever be worth the enormous cost. Making a salad from scratch may take more time, but it's way cheaper.

@jvicentevalera Sometimes, in the Summer, I put all sorts of stuff on my salad, like tuna, beets, hearts of palm, corn, etc. It Can be pretty filling. In that case, I usually slather on blue cheese dressing.
