We were surprised about the box

I forgot about what my Dad said about sending another repatriation box last year. We got it today but I wasn't very optimistic because last time we got tons of expired cans, and other junks. But some of those were useful appliances, all i need was a 110 transformer which my cuz gave me few years back.
Sent a thank message to my Dad, I'm sure it's a nice treat for tomorrows Mother's Day, canned good gifts that is.

I'm of the opinion that "expiry dates" are a marketing ploy to get people to buy more. Check the state of the can, and if it looks ok, open it and see what the contents look like. Nine times out of ten they're still good.

Hello @shaggin it's a process of bringing foods, products, etc from the country you're working with to your home country. You probably never tried working on another country before, most ofws do that for their families. it's commonly known here as balikbayan box.
