One of the saddest and most annoying things going on today is the constant talk of The Booming Economy. The economy is not booming. For the vast majority of Americans, it sucks. Royally. And twice on Sundays.
I hope everyone who keeps spouting the nonsense about a good economy watches the video I'm about to show you. Yes, it is mostly the MAGA people. The poor deluded simpletons who think Republicans are looking out for them.
They need to wake up and smell the coffee. Along with everyone else who thinks things are going well.

As we help the homeless and underfed, we wonder where all the fabulous jobs are. Where are people making money and how will those we help ever dig out of the hole they are in. So, the economy is booming for which group?

Yes, it is a cult but it is very tiny. A lot of people seem to believe that they have huge numbers and that's not true. Them supporting Trump is nothing to worry about. Russia tampering in our elections is the thing to worry about.

Did they legalize pot in your state? I only ask because you HAVE to be high. The numbers tell a completely different story than what you describe here. Are you not seeing it? It's not for everybody. In order to enjoy the fruits of a booming economy you have to be doing something to contribute to it.

Jim, are you illiterate, blind and living in a cave on Mars? Or do you watch FOX News...Oh, sorry, that's the same thing. Let make this simple enough for even a Republican to understand. The only people who are doing well are the 1%. By each and every metric you might want to use. Things such as low unemployment rates mean less than nothing when workers have to also to get food stamps. We have to start redistributing wealth. NOW! And then...OH, wait! Is this the Fairy Tale Hour? Well, Ok, in that case, you make sense. Next can you tell us the one about how Mexico will pay for the Wall?

@xander6464 You are just flat wrong. When we have record low unemployment that means more people are working in that 99%. More people working means more people making money. We also have seen a dramatic rise in median income. When median income rises that means more people are making more money. We have also seen a significant boost in consumer spending. When more people are spending money it means more people have more money to spend. We see higher taxes collected. When more taxes are collected it means more people are making more money to pay more taxes. 401ks are significantly valued higher since the stock market is booming since there is more money flowing in the economy for goods and services to be sold. Since the majority of value in the stock market is from the 99% invested in 401ks, 403bs, IRA's and the like, that means the 99% have more money in their portfolios now than they did even just five years ago. I don't think I am the one living in a cave on Mars.
