Tim Conway passed away 5/14/19.
He was born in Willoughby, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio.
He was a comedic actor, writer and director. He appeared quite a bit on the Carol Burnett show starting in 1975. Two of his famous characters were Mr. Tudball and The Oldest Man. (shown below)
He did a lot of TV and a lot of movies, especially family movies for Disney in which he was paired often with Don Knotts. He was also the voice of Barnacle Boy on SpongeBob SquarePants.

This iconic bit on 'The Carol Burnett Show' never fails to make us laugh, especially this particular sketch with their new intercom system!

Such a funny guy, and I DID know of course that he passed earlier this year. It is often funny to me what an impression Tim Conway left on my own life. I wonder, often, if it was the same for a lot of people. My wife and I are constantly making references from characters he did applied to our everyday lives. I don't know how many times we have been in the checkout at Walmart and made a play on his old man character, "I'm a coming..." He was a remarkable performer, a remarkable comedian, and a remarkable person. He is forever etched in my memory and I am sure he is as well in the memories of others.

Yes, he was all that. Willoughby is about 1/2 hour from me or less. He's one of many celebrities that called Ohio his/her home.

@LindaOHio I just adore the guy, even if it pains me to use "adore" and "guy" in the same sentence.
