I contracted back in March to have the big ol' tree in my backyard trimmed and finally the guys came this morning. They're still at it as I type. I tried taking some pictures but it's been so long since I used the stupid thing, I couldn't get it to work properly.

I need to get some trees cut down in my yard. My yard is small and has over 25 trees, some are huge. We got a few quotes to cut them all down before. One person said $20k, another said $15k and the last person said he'd do it for $6k. It's still a lot of money but I know sometimes a single tree can cost $1k just to cut down so maybe I should start saving up cause I'd like to be able to use my yard.

Well, this one tree set me back $875. But now I have more than half an hour of sun in my back yard!

I haven't figured it out yet. I've obviously gotten stupid in my old age.

@BarBaraPrz Usually it is a button or a knob to turn it on . . . then press the shoot button half way to focus - then press all the way to shoot. Or maybe you need to charge the battery .

@much2say I put in fresh batteries and I know how to turn it on, but it's got all these functions that I don't know how to control.

I've watched a tree being trimmed and one being cut and it's pretty interesting how they do it.

Yes, it's nice and slim now instead of reaching over to both neighbors' yards and away from my patio.

I don't have a cell phone. I do have a digital camera but lost the instructions for it so haven't been using it. I fiddled with it and got a nice shot of the grass, and another one of the shed.

It's a big old Manitoba Maple... They're more like giant weeds.
