I should stop hanging out with murderers

The house was beautiful. I'd gotten a call from someone I had not seen in years and he invited me to his new home. The house was beautiful and spacious with plenty of rooms for receiving guests and enjoying board games, card games or even games like charades. There was also plenty of natural light coming in from the windows, some of which were on the top of the wall to filter in the sun indirectly. I was a little apprehensive at first, we hadn't parted in the best of ways, but soon became comfortable and more amicable. His parents soon came in and we all mended fences (fixed our disagreements) and I became even more relaxed after that. Then his siblings came in, some of which I had never met before. They were considerably younger than him and we were soon tasked with babysitting them while his parents went out. That all went well at first, we just played board games or let them play outside for awhile. Then one of his siblings threatened to tattle tale on us for something and he (the man I hadn't seen in awhile) became angry. I tried to diffuse the situation but I was also scared that the child might cause trouble for us. The next thing I know I am in another room hardly knowing how I'd gotten there. The child is nowhere to be found and the man is pacing back and forth. I'd soon learn that he had murdered the poor child. I really should stop hanging out with murderers This is based off of a dream!

wow, crazy dream. Be careful of long lost friends contacting you, that might be a sign of something.

I am glad that was a dream. Life can be very real and scary. Dreams can be a warning also. Let your gut instinct guide you if you ever see this guy for real.

It was my ex husband. I've been interpreting my dreams for years and I have a pretty good idea how this one came about.

@akalinus Very true. I'm pretty sure that my ex husband was a "placeholder" for the man currently in my life.

Some says Dreams are indication of something in real life. Some says Dreams are relatwd to what you see and was thinking of. You were watching any movie ?

No, I wasn't watching anything.. I ascribe more to the "dreams are indication of something in real life". However, I have had dreams based off of things I've read or watched before.

@ScribbledAdNauseum So this dream has nothing to do with any small part of movie or a novel? It doesnt resemble anything ?

@Janet357 I've been told that before. I just think it makes it seem so real, and then you suddenly find out it wasn't real at all.

Maybe based off a nightmare, why don't call it that way? haha

Mainly because I didn't get scared during the dream, not really.

Write them all down some sound like great inspirations for novels.

Good thing!! I was thinking that it was all happening to you. This definitely has the makings of a book or a movie for that matter!!

Well, I am glad you think so. I have saved this and might expand on it later. The dream was not really scary, someone asked me why I didn't call it a nightmare... it just wasn't too terrifying. I didn't wake up afraid.
