Cat Population Explosion

I mean who knew? Mistaking my kitty niece Oreo for a much younger cat, she knew how to hide her years we started eyeing her incredible expansion sideways. She looked trim vertically but horizontally she started resembling a little pony. Soon it was obvious that the spring nights were made for romance and the suspected dandy was Tux with his tuxedo like fur. Once I again I got caught right in the middle of it all. Miss Oreo assessed the situation and realized I was the only one she could really trust. So in she marched into my apartment and settled in behind my recliner. The recliner was shipped to be put together in two pieces so there is an empty space in the back. That is the space Oreo chose for her newly born kitties. At the moment no one is allowed to see these precious little ones and no one knows how many but we’re guessing four. She comes out from behind to eat and then take a walk and goes right back. Today I heard the mewing sounds as momma roamed about the rooftop. Soon they’ll make their appearance and then I’ll be peddling kittens around the neighborhood. Ain’t life grand? Anyone for a special delivery package?

I love cats and I let the cats of my neighbors come inside, when my husband is not around, because he has allergies. Outdoors cats must be fixed here, no unwanted kittens in the area.

@RasmaSandra It is so quick and easy to neuter a male cat. All the male cats of my neighbors have been neutered because they want to let them freely go outside.

Wish my friends had thought of fixing Oreo before all this happened @LadyDuck

They choose some odd places and I am not surprised that you did not know Oreo was in the family way just as I did not know this cat that has adopted us delivered a kitten in our guest bedroom. Single one, fortunately We now have 3,.

Aw, baby kittens how sweet. I love both cats and dogs. I would take them all but I live way too far from you.. And, if things work out I may not be here for too much longer. I have no idea if my landlord what let me have pets. Although, I have a small dog and I don't know, if anyone has brought her up to the man thinking about renting us his house.

I won't be easy finding owners but it will still be some time before the kittens come out from the chair @Nevena83

@RasmaSandra I understand. I think it's good that kittens take children from the neighborhood, I think they will love them the most.

Funny, just the other day we were talking about how unusual it is these days to see puppies or kittens! When I was growing up, cats and dogs were not pets to be bought and sold, they just sort of turned up here and there. Now there has been so much focus on neutering pets that it is practically considered a crime if you don't, and consequently I haven't come across any kittens for many years!

@RasmaSandra That is great. Congrats. I bet she is watching to make sure they are safe. It is nice to see a mother love her little ones like Oreo does.

She comes out from behind the chair. Eats, goes out, does what she has to and then hurries back @Hannihar she is always with them all night.

@RasmaSandra It sounds like she does not want to be far very long from our little ones.
