Beware, from the exquisite words that blossom Wide tongue spilled venomous promises A well rehearse voice can astonish the crowd Could silence the mind of countless goddesses Serpent can poison the like of Eve To eat the forbidden Beware, ladies, just one magical whisper Men can take what you've hidden Every sufferer become judicious After swallowing the apple of deception Promised selves to never believe easily To lovely utterance cool's complexion Pain from wrecked promises Will surely lead to a heavy rain But if the glass was broken into hundred pieces Then, a hundred pieces of glass was gained... This reminds me of Shakespeare's Macbeth sonnet especially this line: "a honeyed tongue, a heart of gall." Have come across that?

That's kinda nice to hear, my friend. Shakespeare is quite a legend.

A long as we don't cut ourselves on one of the broken pieces.....it might indeed be a gain.... "Broken vows are like broken mirrors. They leave those who held to them bleeding and staring at fractured images of themselves." Richard Paul Evans

@simplfred Yes, well said. We can learn something from most disasters if we look at a disaster through artful eyes.

I agree. Either one will learn from them and turn the broken glasses into another kind of art. Else the shard will forever make one bleed.

I have no reason to be pessimistic. With all its shams and drudgeries, it is still a beautiful world, according to the unknown author of desiderata. You have an awesome poetry there.

Thank you, my friend. Yeah, it is better to get up rather than to stay in the mud...
