Hi everyone! I haven’t posted in a bit. Yesterday we had guests visiting from out of town for the entire day. Today we spent the beautiful day at the pool with friends. That’s where I took the photo of this beautiful snowy egret.
Although it’s our Friday date night, we have plans for dinner with former colleagues tonight. We’ve become good friends over the years. They live in Florida now year round, and we are looking forward to seeing them again before we leave for our “vacation” house. Besides, I’m starving!
Gotta get ready now and will see you ASAP!

@LadyDuck Thank you, It was awesome seeing our friends and catching up. My brother met him by chance at the gym while he was here. They were in the locker room and talking about weather, then the, Where are you from? conversation started. I used to teach in the same town where my friend lived, so my brother mentioned I used to teach there. Our friend asked who, and then went crazy when he realized it was me. Small world! Our younger son met him years ago in my school, too, and at parties. He also went to school with my girlfriend’s daughter.

Enjoy your meal. I got on here while eating a salad and now have to get off to go help with the grandkids. My son-in-law has them and with a two week old, 19 month old and hormonal almost 10 year old, he is having an issue. 
My daughter went to the final court hearing for the adoption to get the date it's final.

We have those egrets visiting us and they are always seen on road sides with cows grazing.

@DianneN Thats right, you will be gone 6 mths, it will be nice to go back for a bit. I am going back to CO next week for 4 days, I get excited for just that amount of time. Wish I could go back for a few months. Enjoy your time away and have fun.
