Quite a handsome guy

Kittie our female cat is being chased by this handsome guy. She has rejected others but not this one and I am perturbed by this activity. I do not want any more kittens flooding this place. I am seriously thinking of having her spayed. The Vet who took care of Preiti should be able to do this either at home or at his clinic which is not so far away.

As Bob Barker used to say on The Price Is Right "Control the pet population. Have your pets spayed an neutered."

Take the action soon before your house is flooded with cats. He is indeed handsome.

@allknowing But you have a good vet you have known for years. Is the cat not cooperative??

@allknowing So what is holding you back from getting her spayed or this guy will continue to chase her when she is in heat.

@Hannihar I did have that experience with one of our dogs. I too spent a whole month keeping my hand on that dog in the night. But cats run away the moment the door is opened.

@allknowing I see. When I got my cat that had before Sophie spayed I tried to make a fun thing out of it so she would not tear her stitches we slept on the floor on a mattress. It was the dog, cat and me.

I think that it is a good idea but if she is welcoming his advances then she is in heat.

@allknowing Actually if the vet does the sutures on the inside and not the outside; it creates less of a hassle as well as infections or the cat pulling on the stitches.
