To the moon, and back

Usually when the fiance comes here, he shows up around 1-2pm. But this past Wednesday afternoon he couldn't even leave until then, so he didn't show up until around 430pm. Which was just two hours before my mom and I had to leave for Music Bingo.
But when he got here, he had my favorite, chicken parm and ziti 
as well as one for him, so I started to heat them up in the microwave.. and all of a sudden he asks me what size my wrist is 
which I have no clue? Didn't think they had a size? 
.
Then he told me to give him my wrist, as he took a bracelet out of a little blue box. Which as the image shows, has a circle and a moon on it, that says "I love you... to the moon and back".
And even though I don't like to wear jewelry, which he has known our whole almost 9 year relationship, I wore it for the rest of the day. As I usually do when he cutely, but stupidly, buys me jewelry. 
And I got a lot of compliments for it too

The bracelet is beautiful. I too do not wear jewelry much. I wore a bracelet yesterday when I dressed for the adoption. It was a bracelet that my daughter gave me many years ago. This was worn to have a part of her with me for the adoption.
Little Miss noticed the jewelry and so did my husband. I said, yes, I do wear jewelry once in a while. It makes me feel pretty. Truth is, it makes me feel close to the ones that gave it to me. All, but the ring I wore that was given to me by my ex idiot. I really like the ring and wearing it symbolizes my ability to move on.

@Courtlynn Tell him to buy you some clothes that you really like. Then he can be sure you'll wear them.

@ElusiveButterfly He use to do that too, lol. And I did tell him that clothes is the better option, but he likes getting the jewelry *shrugs

I used to wear jewelry, but not much anymore. I like earrings, but I have to be careful what kind at work because they can get pulled. I need to add that in all my years no student or adult client has ever messed with my jewelry, but I know they can. I like your bracelet and would likely wear it once in a while.

I used to wear my grandmothers clip on earrings, and play house, but that was basically it for me with jewelry.
I would be afraid of that too, as I know a lot of moms have gotten theirs pulled.
