Hubby is a good egg- a hard worker. He does his share and then some. I sure do appreciate his putting his love into practical terms. He got the Weeder to roaring life this morning so that I could tidy the front yard then he started shredding sunflower stalks and such. He also pulled tall grass that was too close to house. I can't get the Weeder that close. Such a grand time of the year! The periwinkle's purple flowers are blooming alongside the pink perennial strawberry flowers, dandelions rioting, baby sunflowers sprouting taller, regular strawberries blooming white, honeybees busy everywhere. Sally hassles us with her ball: toss it! toss it!

@crazyhorseladycx If you are saying that your health is better, then fantastic!! The neighbor horse is an innocent piece of work. Not her fault.

Spring has sprung in your area. It's getting close to the 90s here which means that the hollyhocks won't be blooming for much longer.

It's a lot hotter here than where you are @sallypup soon it'll be in the upper 90s most of the time and the hollyhocks will start to dry out, I do water them but they suffer because there's no humidity.

Spring is my favorite time of the year. All the wild flowers on the road sides are amazing. I would love a garden but living in an apartment that's impossible.

@RubyHawk I wish more apartments had a group garden area. Sure would make the quality of life go up.

It felt like spring today for the first time in weeks, the sun was shining and it was almost 70. Sounds like your flowers are in bloom, mine too pretty much.
