The parrot is cracking up

I have the window in her room open so she can hear the outside noise. There have been kids running around and screaming all evening. I, personally, find that obnoxious but I guess that's what we did as kids.
Anyway, the more noise my parrot hears, the louder and more animated she gets. She has been talking up a storm and laughing and laughing all afternoon/night. I wonder if anyone else around here can hear her. She isn't super-loud but I know the neighbor downstairs could hear Sandy when he meowed so it seems logical to think that she can hear Scarlett too.

I think Scarlett is trying to communicate, with those people. They make all kinds of noise, then she responds by laughing. And she's entertained by this, instead of being afraid. Remember those children that terrorized her, before you owned Scarlett.

@NJChicaa Scarlett can sense that they won't hurt her. Some children are very kind with animals.

my friend's cockatoo used to do that too-mainly if he was in the other room by himself.we'd call him until he finally wandered to the next room with us.

Scarlett sounds in this case like that parrot in the Disney movie Alladin who always talked up a storm.
