I`m sure its just me and I have did this more than once, okay all the time!
Tony is watching a movie and the phone rang, since he does not want to answer and makes me screen all the calls, I ran from the office to the living room to answer the phone.
It was on t.v. The freakin phone was ringing in the movie! I heard it and he said on his hoarse voice "phone."

There are a few times I hear the police sirens and look out the window to see if they are close by to only realize it was on the TV and not outside my window.@andriaperry (116860)

@andriaperry When I do it my son laughs at me and usually follow with something like "Dad, didn't you know it was on the TV?" Well, if I knew it was on the TV why would I look to see if it was outside?
And he thinks I'm the crazy one?

@andriaperry Some people around here just have a separate cell phone with voice mail for it. But the land lines are extremely crappy in our area too.

The doorbell on the TV used to drive the dogs nuts. My husband has thought more than once that a TV phone was ours ringing.

I have had that happen to me quite often. I hate when it happens but then I just have to laugh at myself. Now it is easy to tell if it is my phone or not because I only have the one flip phone.
