2019 Health Journey -- Day 139 (May 19th)

I can't believe it is already May 19th....well almost May 20th! This month is flying by.
Anyways, I am back to share about my food and blood sugars for the day.
My fasting blood sugar was 174 I think....It was higher than I hoped, but it takes longer to come down.
For my first meal I just wanted a snack so I had 4 slices of deli turkey and a string cheese.
Blood sugar after was 118.
Then at my mom's I had one of the servings of the low carb "lasagna" that I made. I added some extra cheese.
Blood sugar after this meal was 105.
For my dinner I had a low carb enchilada that I made. With the tortillas I used they ended up being 8 net carbs each. I froze 5 of them to be able to pull out whenever I want.
Blood sugar after this meal was 83!
Now I am having one of the peanut butter candies I made the other day.
Macros:
1,308 Calories
85 protein
94 fat
24 net carbs
I think I did alright today with food...sticking to the low carb anyways. The lasagna was okay, but think I will not use pizza sauce and go with just tomato sauce next time.
The enchilada was really good though, so I will be making those again!
So how do you think I did? How about you? Did you have something good on the menu?

@MommyOfEli2013 I love cheat day, every day I do that that's why I don't have balanced diet, but so far I don't have health issue

Glad you like them...they were mostly good.
I'm doing my best....of course I will have a cheat day here or there.

Thank you....I just need to keep making meals that I like in big amounts so I can freeze them lol.
