A Stormy Night

United States
May 20, 2019 7:55am CST
Happy Monday Everyone! It's a bright and sunny morning here in my little corner of the myLot world. However, last night thunderstorms rolled in about 8pm and from the forecast they were supposed to be quick moving. But as the night went on they just got louder and stronger. The lightening was fierce and made me jump every time it lit up the sky. The booming thunder followed. I think this was the longest thunderstorm I can remember. It didn't quiet down until 4am so needless to say, my sleep was very much disturbed. What a night!!

I'm sorry the storm lasted most of the night and kept you awake. Those kinds of storms put me to sleep.

Usually I can sleep through a storm but this one was fierce and awfully loud. It went on and on for hours

I think we might have storms today. It is very breezy this morning. I am going to check the forecast in a bit. It feels pretty nice right now.

We had some storms roll in last night also but I don't think there was any thunder and lightning at least it didn't wake me up. We did have a lot of rain as the ground was soaked.

In these days of late May, it is raining. We normally here, are not used to this rainy weather. So this is definitely boring for me!

Thunderstroms scare me a bit, I do get restless. If it's the night time, it gets little more scary....

Good morning. We had sprinkles of rain last night and wind, but no real storms. I would imagine that the wind would have been the reason behind cancelling some of the fireworks shows that were scheduled for last night. That means that the skies will be bright tonight and there will be lots of booms to be heard from the fireworks.

Yikes, that is bad. We have strong storm warnings for Litchfield County but that is about 40 miles from us so hopefully, we won't get it,
