After Work Or Wait....

The past weekend has been total heaven to me, I got to stay home and do what I wanted to do around here, whether it was mowing or home canning, I was under no deadline or pressure.
Yes I am still a 24/7 caregiver and yes I am still a 24/7 landlady but I did not have to leave home for either, I took care of everything from home.
Tony did good all weekend.
I had a call about the elderly ladies fighting and Tony said he would handle it but his hoarse voice did not allow him, but he wanted to so bad. Seems the 68 year old busted the 75 year old`s radio, I did not check my messages till late in the day on Saturday so I dealt with it Sunday. I will direct any and everyone to call the police next time, the younger is dangerous because of her extreme mental retardation. I had to tell her this time was the last, the people will call the police and I will evict.
I had purchased mushrooms at Aldi yesterday, several cartons, they looked so fresh. I home canned four half pints, made Lentil soup, and added a few to the beef stew I made to home can with the left over roast from what I did not use for Tony`s dinner on Saturday. I got three pints of stew.
Next I made five half pints of honeysuckle jelly, this is for Sunshine`s homestead creations stock to sell. I have enough juice made to make another batch, the honeysuckle have just about bloomed out here on the land.
And I also did a wee bit of writing, I had a new book idea and got that down before I forgot all about it. Who knows one day I might just get one of them published.
I know most of you will think I am crazy saying that I had a relaxed weekend, because you see the labor only, but being at home doing exactly what I did is totally relaxing to me.

I know you will have many books published. Being at home doing what you love can be very relaxing. I got a lot done myself. I know that once we get the date to move things are going to be crazy for a while. I wanted to start writing posts for my blogs ahead of time. I got several written.
