How can I fix spacing issue in Word?

I am formatting a manuscript in Word. What I want is to have even amount of space between the first line of text and the header AND the last line of the text and the footer. My text is justify aligned and I use auto hyphenation to create more even spacing between words in a line. With all these settings there are some pages where the last line of text has more space between it and the footer than it should, which doesn't look good or professional. I thought I can just move the first line from the next page to the bottom of the previous page and that would solve the problem, however, trying to do that the line doesn't move to the previous page. Do any of you know how to fix this issue? I've attached a screenshot of two pages in a doc showcasing this. I did not want the actual text visible so put a gray box around it. Hope you guys understand what I am saying.

Now, I'm assuming that you put the settings to how many inches you want top and bottom? And you're still having problems? I should open up word and look at it.

I have top and bottom margin at 1.25" and header and footer at .5". Each page should have same amount of space between last line of text and footer. Don't get why it doesn't. Maybe justify alignment has something to do with it but all novels are published with justify alignment formatting, so I want to keep that.

@LindaOHio I tried Googling and what I try doesn't seem to work.

You must uncheck the Widow/Orphan control in the Line and Page Breaks section.

@lovebuglena Maybe there are other settings that break the page at the end of the paragraph, usually new Word version have more features. What version do you have?
