I am prepared

To make sure I could be leisurely this morning, I prepared last night.It is cool and chilly so I felt confident about packing my lunch, putting in an ice pack, and putting it in my vehicle.
I have my clothes all picked out.
I do wonder, however, if we will have school. It has been raining for about eighteen hours. I am checking the news and face book.
I spent some time here first thing, because once I get in, I may as well visit a little. It takes a lot for me to access the site lately. All my notifications are done.
There are some other sites I will visit in just a little bit, and I will get dressed, in case I work. I am scheduled, so if we have school, I will go. I woke up at 4:30 this morning.
My yard is flooded, because it has low areas, but the house is up a little higher, so it is all good on top of this hill. We are safe. We have food, and we are dry.

This entire town has a lot of ups and downs. Actually we are kind of poor.This is a poor town. Not far are some nice houses on a ranch in the hills.

@GardenGerty but living on the hill is an amazing thing. you.gotta see the whole view down there. here, if you live on the hill you are filthy rich. same there i think. you are fotunate to have a house on the hill. good morning!

It is summy but chilly here today and not having rain is unusual these days. I hope the tornados were not in your area.

No tornadoes in our area, just heavy rain. About ten days ago we had tons of hail.

Everything slopes down in a general direction from the house. The yard, however has dips that collect water. The other end of town is very wet, and flooded.

Oklahoma is having a lot more tornado activity than we are. Everything is soaked here though. I bet we have an awful crop of mosquitoes.
